Apartments Las Mozas

Situated just behind the Hotel Playa Calera, this attractively designed apartment building is just a two-minute walk from Valle Gran Rey's main beach, which is a mixture of dark volcanic sand, rocks and pebbles, and a ten-minute walk in the opposite direction from Playa del Ingles which is popular with naturists. A good selection of restaurants and bars can be found in the immediate vicinity, alongside a small range of shops for all your holiday needs.

Las Mozas comprises 20 apartments of varying sizes, distributed across two floors. The apartments are fairly spacious and offer simple but practical holiday accommodation. Each has a living room with a sofa-bed and TV set (limited English-language channels), a basic open-plan kitchen with a fridge and two-ring hob, a shower rooms and a bedroom with twin beds. Some of the apartments have a second bedroom with either a single bed or twin beds. WiFi is provided free of charge, whilst a small local charge applies for the use of the safety-deposit boxes.

Whilst the apartments do not generally have balconies, there is a communal roof terrace with sun-loungers, from where you can enjoy views towards the sea and the mountains, and where you will also find a small swimming pool.

As the apartments do not have their own reception, check-in is just across the small road at the Hotel Playa Calera. Those guests who prefer not to self-cater and who like to have their main meals taken care of also have the option to book the bed-and-breakfast or half-board arrangement at the hotel, although in our opinion, part of the appeal of staying centrally in Valle Gran Rey is being able to try out the various local eateries.
