Travellers seeking comfortable self-catering accommodation in an authentic and convenient setting on La Palma should look no further than this recently converted property in the centre of Santa Cruz. Ki-tapenas stands at the western end of the city's main pedestrianised street, Calle O'Daly. This picturesque, cobbled street is lined with all kinds of shops catering to both the local population and holidaymakers, and leads to the beautiful Plaza de Españe and the historic heart of the city. In the opposite direction, the port and the bus station are just a few minutes' walk away, whilst the seafront avenue, Avenida Maritima, with its new manmade volcanic beach, is just around the corner. A good selection of local restaurants, bars and caf´s can be found within a short walk from the accommodation.

Following painstaking restoration, this traditional townhouse now comprises three self-contained apartments and a studio, as well as a gift shop on the ground floor. The apartments are comfortably furnished and stylishly decorated, and benefit from air-conditioning, safety-deposit boxes and TV (limited English-language channels). Each apartment comprises a bedroom with twin beds, a living room with a sofa, an open-plan kitchen with a large fridge-freezer, hob and microwave oven, and a modern shower room.

As there is no reception on site, check-in is at the Hotel Emblematico Holiday Time, which is a short walk away on the seafront avenue, and which is owned and run by the same family as the apartments. Maid service and linen changes are provided once a week whilst towels are changed twice a week.
