Just a short stroll up from the western side of Loutro's waterfront the Porto Loutro II has perhaps one of the best situations in the village. The views from the balconies of the rooms and the terrace, where drinks and snacks are served, really are sublime, especially in the evenings when the distant lights of Hora Sfakion and even Frangokastello shimmer alluringly in the distance.
The Porto Loutro II was opened in 1992 as a result of the popularity of the original hotel on the shoreline. The rooms, some doubles some twins, are all simply but tastefully furnished and bright and airy. Each has its own marble shower room and all-important sea-facing balcony as well as air-conditiong that also acts as heating for the cooler months, and a fridge for keeping drinks nicely chilled.
The house rules at Porto Loutro II are very few but there is a ban on the use of mobile phones in the bar area to preserve the peace of the setting.
Comfortable accommodation, hospitality, fun and simplicity are the key attributes of the Porto Loutro II and we feel that it fits its setting perfectly.
