Hera Hotel

We have chosen to offer the Hera Hotel not only for its location but for the service and comfort that it has always afforded us on our own stays in Athens.

With just 38 comfortable and well-appointed rooms and suites and attractive public areas it certainly warrants its classification as a boutique hotel. All the services you would expect from a city hotel including free Wi-Fi, safety deposit boxes, a flexible breakfast service and 24 hour reception are on offer, as is a cosy lobby bar. The rooms themselves range in size and price but all have modern, comfortable furnishings and all the amenities of a contemporary hotel , including tea and coffee making facilities.

The rooftop Peacock Restaurant, open-sided in the summer, has a spectacular view of the nearby Acropolis and offers an excellent range of both local and international dishes, all carefully prepared and presented, using the freshest of produce alongside an interesting selection of wines. It is a true pleasure to relax and enjoy a leisurely dinner here after a hard day pounding the pavements and imbibing all the sights and sounds of the city.

The location makes it possible to walk to both the Acropolis and a delightful pedestrianised walking trail in a few minutes whereas the nearby metro station makes it easy to access all areas of the city and its surrounds.

For all these reasons it has become an extremely popular little hotel so early booking is certainly recommended.
