Should you wish to upgrade a complimentary car included in your holiday price to a higher category, you simply pay the difference between the group included and the group you wish to substitute for it. These upgrades must be made before your travel documents are dispatched, or an administration fee will apply.
We are unable to confirm a specific vehicle type and the models below are shown for guidance only. When selecting your vehicle group please bear in mind that luggage space is limited in the smaller vehicles and you may need to consider an upgrade to avoid the expense of a taxi to transport your luggage to your accommodation.
Drivers must be over the minimum age stated and be able to produce a full British driving licence which they have held for at least a year. They must carry their licence and passport whenever they are driving the hire car. We regret that we are unable to provide refunds for pre-booked cars, if drivers are under age or have forgotten their licence.
Our car hire prices, and our complimentary cars, all include unlimited mileage, all applicable airport taxes, compulsory Third-Party insurance, and fully comprehensive insurance without excess for two named drivers, including SCDW - Super Collision Damage Waiver and TP - Theft Protection. SCDW includes cover for damage to the underside of the vehicle, wheels, windows and mirrors, unless caused through negligence. Car windows are only covered in case of a collision; the insurance does not cover damage to windows caused by other factors such as landslides, weather events, vandalism or other kind of aggressions. SCDW does NOT cover lost or broken keys and towing charges. The insurance is invalidated should the driver be found to be acting unlawfully, e.g. by driving by above the legal alcohol limit. The insurance does not include any parking or traffic fines (an administration charge of 50.00€ + 13.50%VAT will be added). Drivers must present a valid credit card in their name at car collection as a guarantee for any uninsurable damage.
Additional charges for the following optional items are payable locally: child seats, SatNav, Bluetooth (where available). Please note that these need to be pre-ordered from the UK.
Personal Accident Insurance is normally provided by your Travel Insurance; it is your responsibility to check that the cover is adequate.
We strongly urge you to check the vehicle thoroughly on delivery, in the presence of the car hire agent, and drive with extreme caution especially on any uneven roads.
